A typical day begins with hearty healthy breakfast full of locally sourced fresh fruit and juices, grains and nuts, breads fresh from the traditional Moroccan ovens, yoghurts, jams and honey.
Your expert fully qualified surf instructors come to collect you in time for an 9am departure. You’ll be kitted out with a wetsuit and surfboard to suit your ability and taken to a surf break chosen on the day according to the conditions and tides. After your 2 hour surf class or guiding, your lunch will be ready for you on the beach. If you are still full of energy a 2h surf lesson is waiting for you in the afternoon before heading back to the Villa around 17pm.
For those who like there’s an evening yoga class everyday where you will make full use of all the props – bricks to lift you, belts to support you, bolsters to cushion you, blankets to comfort you, music to lull you and a sunset to fill you with awe. These sessions are all about letting-go, physically and emotionally, and preparing you for tomorrow.
The evening meal is served on the roof terrace, under a blanket of stars, in warm and relaxed company.
Tamraght is a quiet Moroccan village situated between the first Atlas Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can discover local traditions, feel the flavor of Moroccan life and enjoy relaxing holiday vibes. In Tamraght you can find different kinds of local products such as argan oil, honey and all sorts of spices every Wednesday in the «souk».
Morocco is one of the most popular surf destinations in the world.
The Moroccan coastline extends for more than 1000 km, but most of the best surf spots are concentrated in the area to the North of Agadir. On this 30 km part of the coast you can find plenty of breaks with some world class waves. Most of the waves are right handed and there are reef, point and beach breaks.
The season starts at the end of September, beginning of October and lasts until the end of April. The high season is in winter when the biggest swells bring 3-5 meter waves. For the beginners conditions are good all year round.
Water temperature is stable during the hole season and varies around +16°-19° C. A 3’2 mm wetsuit is suitable for all the season. At some spots reef booties will be necessary.
