Morocco > Tamrhakht surf camp
Morocco is quickly becoming one of the most popular surf destinations for European surfers wanting a quick escape to ride some quality long pointbreaks.
This camp is located just 20 minutes north of Agadir, which has an international airport with plenty of flights coming to and from most European countries.
Morocco, with its 3500 kilometers of coastline, offers the surfer a dazzling array of opportunities. On its atlantic side, rocky bottoms alternate with sandy ones, together with a choice of reef breaks or beach breaks for those already initiated in the great art of surfing. Although Americans and Australians first discovered Morocco's tremendous surfing conditions in the 1970's, it is now mainly European Surfers and their Moroccan counterparts who are indulging their passion for the waves and enjoying all that this great place has to offer.
Climate
Always warm, always pleasant. The best time for surfing here is between October and April. This is also when the air temperature is at its most pleasant, around 25 degrees celcius during the day. The nights cool off to a perfect sleeping temparature so you will rest well after a good, long surf session.
The Surf:
With waves like Killer and Anchor Point close by, you will score some serious long point break waves. The waves here best suit experienced to expert surfers.
