General questions:

-Can SurferDream arrange a flight for me?
Sorry we do not organize flights for guests, since we have guests from all over the world, it would be impossible for us to do this. The internet is a great resource to find cheap flights.

-What's the average age group?
There's no fixed answer for this, since it can vary per week.

-How many and where are the other guests from?
Most guests come from all over Europe, and even from outside Europe. How many guests is hard to tell since this can vary per week.

All lessons are given in English

Hard to tell, certain weeks fill up months in advance, certain weeks there's still availability 1 week before.

-I don't have Credit Card for a booking, now what?
Nowadays we only accept online payments, since they are the easiest and fastest way of doing payments online. How about you use the credit card of a family member , friend, brother or anyone that has one, you make the payment, and you pay them the amount in cash.

Yes, we use external compnies that are safe and have a long history with online payments. PayPal currently has 55 million people doing payments with payPal, all safe.

Algarve surf camp questions:

-How do I get to the camp?
Faro is the easiest airport to fly into, and from there you can get an airport pickup for 50 Euro per van, or what's cheaper and easy, take a train from Faro to Lagos, and you 'll be picked up from there for free.

-What's the price if I stay shorter than a week?
Take the weekly price and divide it by 7, that's the price per day.

How is the weather?
Good all year around. Happens that it rains in winter and spring but then not for long.

How is the water temperature?
You need a 3/2 mm wet suit all year around, August and September you can surf in shorts sometimes, in November - March you might need a 4/3 mm
wet suit if you are not used to colder water.

How are the waves?
Good all year around, better in fall, winter and spring; a little bit smaller in summer, but consistent.

How do I get there?
Check the travel info site in our packages section. After you booked you will received detailed information.

Which one is the nearest airport?
Faro, it's about 120 km from the Surf Camp, 1.5 hours car drive or 2 hours if you take the train or the bus. Lisbon is about 330 km away and it takes about 4 hours to come here by bus or train.

What kind of rooms do you have?
We have double/twin rooms and bunk bed rooms for 4 to 6 people. Some shared rooms have a own bathroom, but normally the bathrooms are shared as well.

Do I need to bring a sleeping bag?
You can if you want to, but you don't have to. We provide covers, sheets, pillows and we could even lend you a towel if needed. The nights in summer are quite warm, so you probably wont need a extra sleeping bag.

What should I bring?
In the summer (June to September) the water is usually warm, so all you need is a pair of trunks and a summer wet suit, sunglasses and a lot of sun screen, towels, reef shoes or sandals and a cap are a good idea for your journey.
In the winter (November to April) we recommend you to bring a 4/3 or 3/2 glued and stitched winter wet suit.
If you visit us in the summer and you arrive on a weekend we suggest you to bring some cash with you. As During the high season it happens that the cash machines are empty on the weekend and will only be filled up on the next working day.
But don´t forget to bring a warm sweater, as it is quite windy in the south and you might get cold after surfing or in the evenings.

Is the equipment included?
If you choose the Full Surf Package both wet suit and board will be included for the duration of your visit. You can also bring your own equipment, but that might mean extra costs, depending on your air carrier.

Can somebody fix my board over there?

In our Carrapateira Camp our friend Billy is shaping boards and he can also repair your dings if needed.

Are your courses for beginners and people who have never surfed before?
The spirit of the surf school is to teach the sport and mentality of surfing to people who have
never surfed before, or for those who want to improve their surfing. But normally we have something like a 80% beginners quote, so don´t worry come over and we teach you.

I want to buy a surf board and/or wet suit. Do you have something?
We can offer you new and used boards and wet suits at our surf shop in Lagos. We also have a shaper around for those who would like to take a custom board home. But be warned it takes some time to get done.

Lanzarote Surf camp questions:

-How do I get to the camp?
Arrecife (airport code: ACE) is the airport on Lanzarote, between 9:00am and 8:00pm (Local Time) you will be picked up fro free by a staff member, outside these hours you will have to take a taxi (own costs) to the north coast.

-What's the price if I stay shorter than a week?
Take the weekly price and divide it by 7, that's the price per day.

-I want to stay in an independend studio, how much is that?
That's possible for an extra 78 Euros per week, per studio
