The Surf and weather in the Algarve
The surf here is among the best in Europe; consistent and often uncrowded. From mellow beach breaks that are perfect for beginners learning hot to surf in a fun, quick and safe way. For the experienced surfers there are several worldclass point and beach breaks. Since the Algarve is on the southern tipof Portugal it picks up both south and west swells, making it one of the most consistent places to surf in Europe.

Sagres town camp or the Carrapateira beach camp. The choise is yours, although a bad descision cannot be made.

Getting there:

By far the best airport to fly into to get to the Algarve surf camp in Portugal is Faro (airport code: FAO)
From there you easily take the train to Lagos, which takes one hour, and from there the friendly staff will pick you up. Alternativly you can book an airport pickup from Faro for a supplement of 80 Euros, per van.
